Water Sampling & UKAS Analysis
Water is a precious resource that we rely on for a wide range of applications, including drinking, agriculture, manufacturing, and many others. As such, it's important to ensure that the water we use is safe, clean, and free from harmful contaminants. This is where water sampling and UKAS analysis come in.
Our water sampling is carried out by trained professionals using specialised equipment and techniques. Samples may be taken at regular intervals, such as daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on the requirements of the site and the specific parameters being monitored.
Once water samples have been collected, they are sent to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis. UKAS stands for the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, which is the national accreditation body for the United Kingdom. UKAS accreditation ensures that the laboratory meets rigorous standards of competence, impartiality, and performance.
Do I need Microbiological Sampling?
What is involved during Microbiological sampling?
WMS can test for over 50 different types of microbiological activity and water chemistry analysis.
An engineer will visit your site, undertaking an audit of the water system to determine the appropriate number of samples to take and their locations.
On some occasions, samples can be tested on-site, but microbiological samples need to be incubated, so they are taken to our UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis.
